Zubr Capital has officially opened applications for its The League of Analysts, an educational initiative aimed at senior university students in Poland. The program targets students from Polish universities enrolled in relevant degree programs, particularly those interested in careers as financial and investment analysts. Participants in the League of Analysts will acquire extensive expertise in financial analysis and investment, combined with a unique opportunity to intern at Zubr Capital and prominent international IT companies.
With demand for skilled financial and investment analysts continually rising – 89% of private investment companies plan to increase their staff in 2025 – the timing for launching this initiative is ideal. Moreover, Poland remains a leading investment destination in the region, with projected investments exceeding 650 billion PLN (approximately $160 billion) in 2025. Professionals proficient in financial analysis, modeling, market research, and strategic thinking are increasingly valuable, and the League of Analysts aims precisely to cultivate these skills.
This international educational program spans seven months and covers comprehensive modules, including financial accounting and analysis, financial modeling, company valuation, strategic marketing, and capital markets. Beyond theory, the program emphasizes practical experience through business simulations, workshops, and masterclasses designed to develop essential soft skills such as communication, presentation, and teamwork.
"The League of Analysts addresses a critical challenge for talented students who often possess strong academic backgrounds but lack practical, market-oriented experience," says Oleg Khusaenov, CEO of Zubr Capital. "In seven months, we don’t just provide knowledge – we deliver comprehensive professional preparation in data analytics and financial modeling. These competencies are highly sought after by companies. At the same time, we directly support businesses by providing them with ready-to-work professionals trained to standards unmatched elsewhere."
"The League of Analysts is more than just education; it's an immersion into the operations of an investment fund and access to a community of investors at the beginning of one's career," says the Project Lead of The League of Analysts Alena Padalnitskaya. "The program is structured to include extensive practical experience and real-world case studies. We focus not only on acquiring hard skills but also pay particular attention to the development of soft skills, making our program truly unique."
Upon completing the program, students will defend their final projects and secure internship opportunities within Zubr Capital or the fund's portfolio companies. Top-performing students may also receive job offers directly upon completion.
Additionally, The League of Analysts participants gain entry into a robust professional community, facilitating valuable networking opportunities and peer exchanges.
Selection for the program is competitive, involving interviews and a test assignment. Applications are open to senior students from Polish universities studying economics and mathematics. Prospective candidates can apply through the website League.zubrcapital.com until April 6, 2025. The program will begin at the end of April, run through December 2025, and be conducted in person.
